Two shoes were thrown at President Bush during a news conference on last Sunday in Baghdad, when bush was making a farewell visit. In the Muslim world to throw your shoes at some one is seen as the ultimate disrespect because your souls of your shoes is viewed as the dirtiest part of your body.

Good job. Most people don't know that many Arab speaking people consider the sole of the shoe to be one of the dirtiest parts of the body.
